Shipping Policy

How we ship, what it costs, and when you'll get your order.

1. Delivery zones, shipping fees & free-shipping thresholds

  • Local delivery (within 30 miles of Arlington, TX) — FREE on orders $59+; $5.99 on orders under $59. Same-day or next-business-day delivery (see sections 2–4).
  • TX & OK (all of Texas and Oklahoma) — FREE shipping on orders $59+; $6.99 on orders under $59.
  • US Standard — FREE shipping on orders $69+; $8.99 on orders under $69. Covers: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
  • US Far — FREE shipping on orders $79+; $10.99 on orders under $79. Covers: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wyoming, and Washington, D.C.
  • Remote (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico) — shipped by USPS (Ground Advantage or Priority Mail). The rate is calculated at checkout based on your order's weight; there is no free-shipping threshold for these areas.

Free-shipping thresholds are based on your order subtotal after discounts, before taxes.

We don't currently ship to other U.S. territories (such as Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands) or to APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

2. Estimated delivery time

Every online order ships from our fulfillment center in Arlington, TX, in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Estimated delivery times below are based on straight-line distance from Arlington, TX (ZIP 76010), counted from the day your order ships:

  • Within ~20 miles → same-day delivery if you order before 12:00 PM CT (or next business day after that). Same-day delivery applies to orders that choose Local Delivery at checkout.
  • Within ~400 miles → +1 business day
  • Within ~700 miles → +2 business days
  • Further continental US → +3–5 business days
  • Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Washington, Alaska & Hawaii → +5–7 business days
  • Puerto Rico → timing depends on USPS; you'll get tracking once your order ships

3. Order cutoff times (Central Time)

  • Same-day delivery (within 20 mi): order before 12:00 PM CT
  • All other orders: order before 2:00 PM CT to ship the same business day

Orders placed after cutoff are shipped on the next business day.

4. Weekends & holidays

We don't ship on Saturday, Sunday, or US federal holidays. Estimated delivery dates automatically roll to the next business day. Orders placed Friday after cutoff, Saturday, or Sunday will ship Monday (or the following business day if Monday is a holiday).

5. Important note on zone vs distance

Your shipping fee and free-shipping threshold (section 1) and your delivery time (section 2) are calculated separately. An address can qualify for free shipping at $59 and still take 1–2 days to arrive if it is more than ~20 miles from our fulfillment center.

Example: 75248 (North Dallas) gets free local delivery on orders $59+, but it is more than 20 miles from our fulfillment center, so an order placed before 2:00 PM CT arrives the next business day, not the same day.

6. Lost, stolen, or damaged packages

Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier (or by our driver, for local delivery), A&E Foodstore has completed its shipping obligation. We cannot automatically refund packages that tracking confirms as delivered.

Damaged or wrong items: contact us within 7 days of delivery — our Refund Policy applies, and you don't need to wait for a carrier claim.

Lost or stolen packages: contact us at support@aefoodstore.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will:

  • File a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf and provide all tracking and delivery records;
  • Assist you in filing a police report for stolen packages where applicable;
  • Issue a refund or replacement once the carrier claim has been approved.

Refunds for lost or stolen packages are processed after the carrier's claim is resolved. By placing an order, you agree that risk of loss for confirmed-delivered packages passes to the customer upon delivery, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Pickup

We don't offer in-person pickup. Addresses within 30 miles of Arlington, TX can choose local delivery at checkout.
