[BICH CHI] Black Glutinous Rice Flour - 14 oz is black sticky rice (nep than) ground into flour by Bich Chi, a food maker in Sa Dec, Dong Thap (Mekong Delta, Vietnam) that began as a flour mill in 1966. The flour carries the deep purple-black color of the rice, and the dough cooks up soft, sticky and chewy. The bag suggests it for banh it (small filled sticky rice dumplings), che troi nuoc (rice balls filled with mung beans, served in ginger syrup) and other cakes made with glutinous rice flour.

Ingredients: black glutinous rice 99.9% and salt. Net weight: 14 oz (400 g). Product of Vietnam. The che troi nuoc recipe on the back kneads the whole bag with about 300 ml of boiling water added a little at a time, divides the dough into even pieces, flattens each one, puts a ball of mashed mung beans in the middle and rolls it closed, then boils the balls for about 6 minutes, until they float. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place.

[BICH CHI] Bột Nếp Than - 14 oz là bột xay từ nếp than của Bích Chi, công ty thực phẩm ở Sa Đéc, Đồng Tháp (miền Tây Việt Nam), khởi đầu là xưởng làm bột từ năm 1966. Bột mang màu tím đen của hạt nếp than, nhồi và nấu lên mềm, dẻo, dai. Trên gói gợi ý dùng làm bánh ít, chè trôi nước và các loại bánh làm từ bột nếp.

Thành phần: nếp than 99,9% và muối. Khối lượng tịnh: 14 oz (400 g). Sản phẩm của Việt Nam. Công thức chè trôi nước in sau gói: nhồi cả gói bột với khoảng 300 ml nước sôi (cho nước vào từ từ), ngắt thành từng viên bằng nhau, cán mỏng, cho nhân đậu xanh tán nhuyễn vào rồi vo tròn lại, luộc khoảng 6 phút tới khi viên bột nổi lên. Bảo quản nơi khô ráo, thoáng mát.
