Cholimex Char Siu Sauce 200g is a ready-to-use marinade for making Chinese-style barbecue pork (xa xiu / char siu) at home. Sweet, savory and richly seasoned, it gives meats a glossy red glaze and deep barbecue flavor.

Coat pork (or chicken) evenly with the sauce and marinate for a few hours or overnight, then roast, grill or pan-sear until caramelized. Use the classic char siu in rice plates (com xa xiu), noodles, banh mi and buns, or brush extra sauce on while cooking for a richer glaze.
Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate after opening and use within a reasonable time.
