Description
Cock Brand Peeled Split Mung Bean 375g is dried mung beans that have been hulled and split, so they take less soaking and cook down quickly into a soft, smooth mash. On their own the beans taste mild with a gentle natural sweetness, and once cooked they have a soft, lightly powdery texture.

How to use: Rinse until the water runs mostly clear, then soak in cool water for one to two hours. Steam over simmering water or boil in fresh water until the beans are soft right through, then mash while still warm. For sticky rice, drain the soaked beans and steam them together with the rice.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight and damp. After opening, keep the beans in an airtight container and scoop with a dry spoon.
