How to use / Cach dung

Rehydrate the powder in warm water or milk according to the pack directions and let it stand until it swells into a smooth paste. For ube halaya, cook the paste with milk, condensed milk, sugar and butter over low heat, stirring constantly until thick and glossy. For cakes, breads and ice cream, blend the hydrated paste into your batter or base. Adjust liquid slowly – ube powder absorbs a lot of moisture and it is easier to add more than to take it back.

Storage / Bảo quản

Store the sealed pack in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. After opening, keep the powder in an airtight container and always use a dry spoon; any moisture will cause clumping.
