Description

KABUTO Japanese Buckwheat Noodles (Zaru Soba) is a dried Japanese-style soba noodle formed into long, thin, straight strands with the pale grey-brown color typical of buckwheat noodles. Once boiled, the strands are firm and springy with a mild, gently earthy flavor that suits both chilled and hot preparations.

  • Brand: Kabuto
  • Type: Dried buckwheat soba noodles
  • Size: 4 lb
  • Great for: Chilled zaru soba with a dipping sauce, hot noodle soup bowls, cold noodle salads on warm days

How to use: Bring a large pot of unsalted water to a rolling boil, drop the noodles in loosely and stir right away so they do not clump. Cook until just tender, then drain and rinse under cold running water, rubbing gently to wash off the surface starch. Serve cold on a basket or plate alongside a dipping sauce, or add to hot broth just before serving.

Storage: Keep the unopened package in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. After opening, reseal the bag tightly or move the noodles to an airtight container.

Please refer to the printed label on the package for the full ingredient list, allergen and nutrition information.
