Description
RAITIP Peeled Split Mungbeans 300g is dried mung beans that have been hulled and split in half, so they need only a short soak and fall apart into a smooth paste once cooked. On their own they taste mild and lightly sweet, ready to be sweetened or seasoned however you like.
- Brand: Raitip
- Type: Dried peeled and split mung beans (uncooked)
- Size: 300 g
- Great for: mung bean fillings for cakes and buns, sweet soups and puddings, steaming with sticky rice
How to use: Rinse until the water runs fairly clear, then soak in cool water for about one to two hours. Steam the drained beans over simmering water, or boil them in fresh water, until they are soft all the way through. Mash or blend while warm for the smoothest paste, and add sugar or salt only after they are fully soft.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, transfer to an airtight container so the beans do not pick up moisture.
Please refer to the printed label on the package for the full ingredient list, allergen and nutrition information.
