Sambal Bajak Ground Chili Garlic Oil Paste 454g is a thick, ground chili and garlic paste suspended in oil. It is deep red, coarse rather than smooth, and carries a warm chili heat with a strong garlicky, savory aroma that comes through as soon as the jar is opened.

How to use: Stir the jar before scooping so the oil and solids recombine. Add a small spoonful at a time to cooked food, or fry a spoonful with your aromatics at the start of a stir-fry to spread the heat and aroma through the whole dish. Taste before adding more.
Storage: Keep the unopened jar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, seal it tightly and refrigerate, always scooping with a clean dry spoon so the paste stays good.
