Description
Sukina Japanese Style Somen 3 lb is a bulk pack of somen, the very thin, straight Japanese wheat noodle. Somen cooks in a couple of minutes and is most often eaten cold with a dipping sauce in warm weather, though it can also be served in hot broth.
- Brand: Sukina
- Type: Japanese style somen wheat noodles
- Size: 3 lb
How to use: Follow the cooking time printed on the package. In general, boil the noodles in plenty of water, stirring so they do not clump, then drain and rinse under cold running water to stop the cooking and wash off surface starch. For a cold serving, pile the noodles on a plate over ice and serve with a chilled dipping sauce and toppings such as spring onion, ginger or sesame. For a hot serving, add the drained noodles to broth just before eating so they do not soften too much.
Storage: Keep the dry noodles in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight, sealed after opening. Cooked noodles are best eaten the same day.
Please refer to the printed label on the package for the full ingredient list, allergen and nutrition information.
