How to use: Rinse and pick over the beans, then soak them in plenty of cool water for several hours or overnight. Drain, cover with fresh water and simmer until tender, topping up the water as needed. For rice, stir a small amount of the soaked beans into the pot before cooking. Because the bag holds several kinds of bean, cooking times vary a little, so test a few as you go.
