How to use: No preparation needed, simply unwrap and eat. Room temperature is best, since that is when the mochi is softest and the green tea flavour reads most clearly. If the weather is warm, a short spell somewhere cool keeps the pieces from sticking, but long chilling makes mochi firm and harder to bite. Serve two or three pieces per person alongside plain tea.

Storage: Keep the bag in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight and away from the stove or any warm surface. After opening, close the bag tightly or move the leftover pieces into an airtight container and eat them within a few days so they stay soft.
